About this board game

Chamber of Wonders is a board game for 2–4 players that takes about 30 minutes, placing you in the role of British aristocrats in 19th-century London.

Rich, bored, and inspired by a bizarre new fashion, you compete to create the most impressive private museum. Fill your personal Chamber of Wonders with strange artifacts and natural wonders gathered from around the world, then display your selection in your cabinet.

To find the most remarkable objects, send your Agents into different areas of London. You may visit auction houses, deal with shady dealers, or search for unlikely artifacts in the shops of Piccadilly. Money, bids, and other actions help you obtain Wonder Cards while competing with your friends and rivals.

A distinctive feature of Chamber of Wonders is its dynamic setup. The selected areas and contacts determine which rules and game mechanics are used during each playthrough. Defined setups offer prepared combinations, while a completely randomized game board lets you create a different challenge.

With more than 150 combinations of areas and contacts, the game can introduce substantially different possibilities from one session to the next. Whether you seek the finest auction finds or the strangest curiosities in London’s shops, the goal remains the same: assemble the collection that earns the most Fame and boast the best Chamber of Wonders.
