About this board game
In a Bind is a physical challenge party game for 3–10 players, with games lasting about 20 minutes. Players draw cards that add simple instructions they must obey for the rest of the game.
Each card introduces a new bind. Examples include one finger touching your nose, your left elbow above your shoulder, two hands touching, or the card resting on top of your head. Once drawn, the instruction remains active alongside every previous card.
As the deck adds more restrictions, players must continue complying with all of their binds at once. When a player can no longer satisfy every instruction, that player loses. The last person to lose wins.
- Physical challenges based on simple card instructions
- Persistent binds that remain active for the rest of the game
- Rules for 3–10 players
- Team-based and “Slow and Sadistic” variants
The team-based rules offer a different way to approach the accumulating challenges. For a more targeted experience, the “Slow and Sadistic” variant involves choosing cards to play on other players, giving the game another way to build pressure through its deck of binds.
With its growing collection of physical instructions and clear losing condition, In a Bind turns every new card into an additional challenge. Follow the binds for as long as possible, watch the restrictions accumulate, and try to be the last player still able to comply.
