About this board game

Jumanji Fluxx is a 2–6 player card game that takes about 30 minutes to play, combining Fluxx’s changing rules with characters and events from the Jumanji film.

In Fluxx, the cards determine the current rules of the game. Players begin with three cards, then take turns drawing and playing cards. As new cards enter play, the conditions of the game can change repeatedly.

Playing cards can alter how many cards you draw, how many cards you play, how many cards you may keep in your hand, and how many cards can remain on the table in front of you. The rules are not fixed, so each turn can reshape the choices available to everyone.

The most important changes involve victory itself: cards can change how to win the game. This creates a shifting contest in which players must respond to the latest rules while looking for an opportunity to reach the current winning condition.

Released in 2019, Jumanji Fluxx offers the familiar Fluxx experience in a Jumanji-themed setting. The Looney Labs edition includes seven additional cards and a collector’s coin used in gameplay; the Cardinal Games edition does not include those cards, which are sold separately by Looney Labs.
