About this board game
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Fluxx is a card game for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 40 minutes. Set aboard the famous space station, it brings the ever-changing rules of Fluxx together with Benjamin Sisko, Quark, Jadzia Dax, Worf, and other familiar personnel.
Fluxx begins simply: each player holds three cards, then draws one card and plays one card on each turn. The cards themselves shape the game, letting players introduce new rules that can change how many cards are drawn or played, how many cards may be held in hand, and how many may remain on the table.
The victory conditions can change too. Instead of following one fixed path from beginning to end, players adapt to the goals introduced during play. In this Deep Space Nine edition, players try to gather Gold-Pressed Latinum and study The Wormhole while working alongside the station’s crew and allies.
- Dynamic rules that change during the game
- Variable draw and play requirements
- Changing hand and table limits
- Deep Space Nine characters, locations, and themes
- Surprises and Creepers, including the Founders and the Jem’Hadar
Every turn can alter what matters most, making attention and adaptability central to the experience. Helpful developments may be interrupted by nasty Surprises, while Creepers such as the Founders and the Jem’Hadar complicate the race for victory.
Released in 2019, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Fluxx offers a themed take on the Fluxx system for fans of the space station and its personnel. Gather the right cards, respond to shifting rules, and pursue the current way to win as the game keeps changing.
