Mega Man Pixel Tactics: Bass Orange Edition is a head-to-head tactical combat card game for two players, with games lasting about 45 minutes.

Each player uses an identical deck of 25 cards and drafts a leader before the battle begins. Your chosen leader changes the abilities, strategy, and playability of every other card, giving the game 25 different ways to play.

Players take turns placing cards and attacking. A card’s position determines how it can contribute to your force, with cards taking on offensive capabilities in the front rows or providing support powers from the back rows.

• Play cards as orders for powerful, single-use effects.
• Attack until your opponent’s leader is defeated.

Cards can also be played as orders, creating powerful one-time effects that may turn the tide of battle. Play continues until one player’s leader falls, and a typical game is played as a best-of-three or best-of-five series.

The 2017 Bass Orange Edition is a standalone box containing two copies of all the unlocked stretch goals from the Mega Man Pixel Tactics Kickstarter campaign, including all the social goals. Together, these additions bring 28 different new characters to the table.
