About this board game

Phalanxx is a strategy board game for 1–4 players, playable in about 60 minutes, set after Alexander the Great has conquered a vast empire. As his power wanes, four competing factions prepare to battle for control of his inheritance.

Each player leads one of these factions and seeks to become the most powerful force in the empire. Success depends on building military strength, maintaining the supplies your faction needs, and securing the locations that matter most.

To pursue your claim, you will need to balance several priorities:

• Reinforce your troops to strengthen your faction.
• Ensure sufficient supplies to support your ambitions.
• Occupy important cities and oases across the empire.

The game’s standout feature is its unique dice drafting and dice management mechanism. The dice are central to how you plan and develop your faction, making their selection and use an important part of the contest for power.

With four factions competing over the same vast inheritance, every decision contributes to the struggle to become the dominant power. Phalanxx combines an evocative historical setting with a focused system built around troops, supplies, territory, and carefully managed dice.
