The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is a cooperative adventure game for 1–4 players, with a playing time of about 40 minutes. Join Bilbo Baggins and his thirteen Dwarven companions as they travel through the Lonelands and Misty Mountains.

The journey is filled with dangers that threaten to end the Company’s adventure. Goblins, Trolls, and other hazards stand in the way, challenging players to work together as they press onward.

Players traverse two boards, with each board more difficult than the last. The aim is to come through the journey alive and ready for the dangers that await ahead, making cooperation essential throughout the adventure.
