Gretchinz!

About this board game

Gretchinz! is a frantic racing game for 2–4 players that plays in about 20 minutes, sending Orks and their Gretchinz into violent, improvised buggy races.

Each player pilots a ramshackle contraption built from whatever is at hand, where speed and firepower matter more than racer safety. Everyone rolls their dice at the same time, trying to line up the results for the actions they want.

• Move your buggy and push toward the finish.
• Attach equipment as indicated by your dice.
• Draw new cards to expand your options.
• Attack rivals while managing uncertain firepower.

The first player to align their dice to their liking shouts “Waaagh!” From that moment, everyone else must make do with the results showing on their table. This creates a tense race in which hesitation can leave you behind while another Gretchin seizes the moment.

Attacks add another layer of risk. Players hold their cards so they cannot see the relevant side of their own hands, while opponents can see the firepower available to them. You may have a plan, but you will not know for certain whether your cards are strong enough to carry it out.

With simultaneous dice rolling, hidden information, sudden attacks, and frantic movement, Gretchinz! captures the reckless energy of Ork speed freaks. A second copy can expand the race to as many as 8 players.
