Wrong Chemistry

About this board game

Wrong Chemistry is a 2–4-player board game with a playing time of about 30 minutes, in which scientists transform a molecule to discover new elements.

In this playful chemistry puzzle, players are not being tested on whether their science is correct. Instead, the goal is to change the pieces on the board until they form the same shape shown on a card in hand. When the shape matches, the player reveals the discovered element and adds the card to their pile of earned points.

Players alternate rounds, continually looking for ways to reshape the molecule and claim discoveries. The rules are fun and easy to learn, but finding the best opportunities can be hard to master. References to real elements from the periodic table add a humorous theme to the search for points.

• Change board pieces to match cards in hand
• Reveal matching element cards to score them

The game ends when a player can no longer draw more cards. The winner is the player with the most points. If players are tied, the deciding factor is which player discovered more elements that are next to each other in the Periodic Table of the Elements—chairs not included.
