Dust 1947 is a board game for 2–8 players with an approximately 120-minute play time, set in a world where the Second World War has continued into 1947.

The conflict began eight years earlier with Germany’s invasion of Poland and has since spread across the globe. Old alliances have collapsed, new ones have formed, and most of the world is now divided among three immense power blocs.

• The Allies: gathered around the U.S.A., this coalition includes the British Commonwealth and the French colonial empire.
• The Axis: Germany, Japan, and Italy have merged to secure their survival against powerful enemies.
• The SSU: the USSR and communist China have united as the Sino-Soviet Union, a planetary power determined to impose its way of life across other continents.

At the heart of this worldwide struggle is Vk, a revolutionary ore with extraordinary properties. Its discovery led to the design of gigantic combat robots capable of challenging the world’s most advanced tanks, making control of the resource a vital objective for every bloc.

Germany discovered Vk and pioneered its first military applications, but the ore remains shrouded in mystery. Rumors claim that its secrets were revealed by aliens from another planet—an extraordinary story made difficult to dismiss after years of war propaganda.

Released in 2016, Dust 1947 presents a dramatic alternate vision of a war that refuses to end. Its setting combines global alliances, ideological conflict, secretive technology, and towering machines in a battle for control of a transformed world.
