Death Note: Confrontation is a two-player deduction game with a play time of about 30 minutes, pitting the legendary detective L against the mysterious killer Kira.

The cat-and-mouse game begins after Kira claims another life. Interpol calls on L to uncover how Kira can seemingly strike anyone, anywhere—and to locate and capture the killer before Kira completes the list and disappears without a trace.

One player takes the role of L, while the other plays as Kira. Each player uses their character’s specified notebook, pursuing a different path to victory within the same deadly confrontation.

• L: Reveal criminal targets and use the information to systematically locate Kira and deduce Kira’s identity.
• Kira: Eliminate the revealed targets, punishing those deemed deserving of the ultimate penalty while racing to gain enough victory points.

As L, every target can bring the investigation closer to Kira’s location and identity. As Kira, each elimination advances a supernatural campaign of homicidal justice, creating a race against the detective’s deductions.

Designed exclusively for two players, Death Note: Confrontation turns the central conflict of the Death Note story into a focused battle of hidden information, investigation, and competing objectives. Will L capture Kira, or will Kira complete the list and vanish?
