About this board game

Bananagrams Party is a fast-paced word game for 2–8 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. Each player races independently to build a personal crossword from plastic letter tiles, without using a board or letter values.

The game uses a selection of 144 plastic letter tiles. Players arrange their letters into connected crossword-style words, working to incorporate every tile they hold. Whenever a player uses all of their current letters, all players take a new tile from the pool and continue reshaping their own crossword.

When the tile pool is empty, the race reaches its conclusion. The first player to use up all the tiles in their hand wins, rewarding quick word-building and flexible arrangements.

Bananagrams Party adds a special layer of interaction to the core format with fourteen “party power” tiles mixed into the letters. Each power tile gives its holder a unique power, creating new possibilities as players work through their crosswords.
