About this board game

Train Heist is a cooperative game for 2–4 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes, in which you rob a train and try to escape before the Sheriff catches you.

The Sheriff is riding the rails with corrupt, wealthy friends while the good people of the territory remain in poverty. To bring justice to the West, players work together to board the train, loot its passengers and cargo, and carry away the goods for the benefit of the towns along the route.

Success depends on bringing enough finery back to each town before the train arrives. Complete this task, and the Sheriff can be kept at bay as your cooperative plan unfolds. Every player shares the same goal, so the group must pull off the heist together.

But the train journey is filled with danger. If enough perilous events occur, or if a hangman’s noose is tied up, the entire group loses. That shared risk gives every decision a clear sense of urgency as players try to secure the spoils and stay ahead of the law.
