Port Royal: The Dice Game is a dice-driven race for 2–5 players that takes about 50 minutes to play. Set in the lively harbor of Port Royal, players seek a bigger crew while exploring islands throughout the Caribbean Sea.

Roll the dice and decide how boldly to push your luck. You can hire crew members for their abilities and victory points, while looting treasures along the way. However, the roll comes with a dangerous restriction: avoid rolling a second ship of the same color.

The more you risk, the more you can cross off on your game map. Every decision brings you closer to the finish, but pushing too far can threaten your progress. The central challenge is balancing the rewards of another roll against the danger of the ships.

• Crew recruitment: Hire people for useful abilities and victory points.
• Map progression: Cross off more of your game map as you take greater risks.
