About this board game

Not That Movie! is a cooperative party game for 2–7 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. Together, you must choose the best movie for a shared movie night from a selection of bizarre, mixed-up titles.

Each round presents eight “broken” movie titles, created by combining two movie titles into one brilliant, bizarre, or weird result. You also have only a couple of short review cards to guide your decision, so discussing what fits best can be just as entertaining as choosing.

After secretly selecting a title, players take turns placing “Not” tokens beside titles they believe nobody chose. Every correctly placed token earns one point, and the group gets one free mistake per round. If the team makes no mistakes, it earns bonus points.

1. Read the available reviews and consider the eight broken titles.
2. Secretly choose the title that best suits the movie night.
3. Place “Not” tokens beside titles you think no one selected.
4. Score points, then try to improve your result across five rounds.

The game challenges you to beat your previous scores and reach the score table. Can your group approach the maximum of 40 points, with different player counts?
