About this board game
Dr. Shark is a 2–6-player dexterity game that takes about 45 minutes, challenging secret agents to recover hidden clues and assemble the strongest dossier against a suspected criminal mastermind.
On a private island in the South Pacific, the mysterious Dr. Shark is hosting a cocktail party. Your mission is to mingle with the guests, dive into the pool, and retrieve important evidence hidden beneath the water. But beware the sharks as you search.
Each dive lasts only thirty seconds. Using your fingers, you must detect the shape and texture of objects at the bottom of the pool, relying on your sense of touch rather than sight to identify useful clues. The pressure of the time limit makes every dive a tense test of dexterity and perception.
- Search the pool for hidden clues.
- Use shape and texture to identify evidence by touch.
- Group your clues to form evidence and build your dossier.
- Play individually or in teams.
After returning to the surface, agents organize their discoveries into evidence. The secret agent who creates the biggest dossier against Dr. Shark earns the privilege of putting him behind bars, while the other agents face a much less pleasant fate: being thrown into the pool.
With its unusual tactile searching mechanic, Dr. Shark brings a distinctive feel to the dexterity game genre. It combines a secret-agent theme, timed underwater searches, and evidence collection in a playful mission where touch may be the key to success.
