About this board game

Flash 8 is a fast-paced sliding-tile game for 1–4 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. Move colourful electron tokens around your city board, or “tablet,” to recreate combinations and score points in real time.

In the competitive game for 2–4 players, combination cards are placed in the center of the table. Everyone races to slide their multicoloured electron tokens into the empty space on their city grid, trying to reproduce the colour pattern shown on a card.

Whenever you complete a combination, call out “Flash!” and collect the matching card. The game continues while players compete to claim the remaining cards, creating a lively test of speed and spatial thinking. When all cards have been claimed, the player with the most cards wins.

The solo version uses the same sliding-tile mechanism, but asks you to recreate combinations from the electron grid laid out in front of you. Each success changes the grid, so completing one combination can affect your next move.
