About this board game

Olvir is an adventure game for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 90 minutes. Adventurers explore the lands of Olvir, fighting beasts and gathering resources to meet the demands of its cities and obtain powerful objects.

Each game unfolds across several rounds, with every round representing a day. Days are divided into morning, afternoon, and evening, giving the adventurers opportunities to spend action points during their turns.

Hunting is more than a way to deal with danger: adventurers are also rewarded for bringing down the beasts that strike the lands of Olvir. Careful movement, resource gathering, and tactical decisions all matter as players balance immediate needs with longer-term aims.

The game features a system of constant, random progression. As the days pass, the beasts become increasingly dangerous, sometimes in unexpected ways, ensuring that the hazards of Olvir continue to change throughout the adventure.
