About this board game

Capybara Crush is a card game for 1–4 players that takes about 45 minutes to play. Help critters escape a flooding river by building a herd of capybaras and forming scoring chains.

Each card features a column of three different critters on the front and a capybara on the back. When you draw a card, choose whether to place its critters on one of your capybaras or add the card as a capybara to your roster.

As your tableau develops, connect matching critters and backgrounds into long, interweaving chains. These chains are the heart of the scoring system, rewarding thoughtful placement as you work toward the most points.

Every game can bring a different strategic challenge through its changing powers and board arrangements. The variable setup encourages you to reconsider how you develop your tableau and when you add another capybara to your herd.

Capybara Crush also includes a solo mode in which you draft against two bots. Whether playing alone or competing with up to three other players, the goal remains the same: guide your critters to safety and finish with the most points.
