Heroica: Nathuz is a classic dungeon game for 2–3 players, with adventures designed to take about 15 minutes. Set in an intimidating cave, it invites players to enter through a foreboding gate, follow torch-lit paths, collect treasure, and fight enemies.

Players move through the dungeon’s tunnels as they explore Nathuz. Conflict is resolved with dice rolls: the result may be a number or a symbol, and a symbol might allow a player to use a special weapon.

Rather than using a character sheet, the game uses equipment backpacks. These can be filled with useful discoveries made during the adventure, including weapons, potions, and keys.
