About this board game
Top That! is a stacking race for 2–4 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. Each player uses five wooden pieces to solve a series of visual challenges and claim cards before their opponents.
Every player begins with the same set of objects: a black hat, orange tube, red goblet, green coin, and white rabbit. The sixty challenge cards are shuffled, and one card is revealed to begin the round.
Players race to arrange their pieces in a stack that follows the card’s two key rules. Pieces shown on the card in their original colors must remain visible, while pieces shown in grey must be hidden somewhere inside the stack.
- Use all five wooden pieces to solve the revealed challenge.
- Keep original-color pieces visible.
- Hide grey pieces within the stack.
- Claim the card if you complete the stack first.
The first player to correctly build the required arrangement claims the revealed card. Rounds continue as new challenges are revealed, creating a direct contest of speed and accurate visual interpretation.
Top That! combines simple components with an easy-to-follow objective: read the challenge, stack the pieces, and make sure every visible and hidden requirement is satisfied. Whoever first claims a certain number of cards wins the game.
