Endure the Stars

About this board game

Endure the Stars is a cooperative action survival game for 1–6 players, with scenarios lasting from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Set aboard the planet-colonising ship N.W.E. Hikari, it begins one year after the ship’s colonisation efforts have fallen into ruin.

Scientists secretly engineered life forms to explore the planet below, but a series of tragedies exposed the truth and unleashed the creatures from containment. These escaped genetic experiments, known as GEPs, now roam the ship while the remaining crew survive in small groups and salvage whatever they can.

Players control one or more survivors and attempt to complete missions by exploring the wreckage of the once-thriving ship. Six unique character classes offer special abilities, while searches can uncover powerful weapons, items, helmets, and armour to help the survivors endure the dangers ahead.

• Play individual missions or follow an overarching campaign.
• Explore modular ship tiles for flexible map sizes and setups.
• Reveal hidden threats represented by radar tokens when visual contact is made.
• Face the fearsome Titan, whose actions are controlled by its own unpredictable deck of cards.
• Adapt to blackouts, power failures, and other effects caused by the ship’s constant decay.

GEPs are controlled by the game itself, keeping every mission uncertain as radar tokens conceal what may be waiting nearby. Among these threats, the gargantuan Titan stands apart as a deadly opponent that demands everything the survivors have.

With modular exploration, changing ship conditions, character abilities, and mission-based play, Endure the Stars offers a survival challenge that can be played as a standalone experience or as part of a larger campaign.
