About this board game

SWAT! is a fast-paced card-capturing game for 2–7 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Players compete to swat bugs at the moment when the exposed cards are worth the most points.

At the start of a turn, one player acts as the dealer and reveals cards one at a time. As the cards appear, everyone must decide whether to keep waiting or claim the growing stack. When a player wants the exposed cards, they hit the colorful “SWAT!” board to take them.

The player who swats the stack becomes the next dealer, so control of the action constantly changes. The challenge is to remember which cards you have already captured and judge how far you can push your luck. Wait too long, and a rival may swat the cards first; act too soon, and you may miss a more valuable opportunity.
