About this board game

Star Wars: Battle of Hoth is a strategy and luck game for 2–4 players, with play taking approximately 15 minutes. One side represents the Empire, while the other represents the Rebels defending their secret base on the remote ice planet of Hoth.

Darth Vader has discovered Luke Skywalker’s hidden base, and Imperial ground forces are ready to attack. Players move their pieces across an assembled LEGO game board and attack opposing forces, creating a fast-moving conflict inspired by the Battle for Hoth.

Each piece has its own movement and range of fire. These values determine how far it can move, what damage it can deal, and the distance from which it can attack. The result is a compact contest that combines tactical positioning with the uncertainty of a buildable LEGO Dice.

The battlefield itself can change between games. Built from interlocking LEGO pieces, the board can be rearranged to open movement paths that were previously blocked or close routes that were once available. This changeable layout gives players a way to build, play, and alter the game.
