About this board game

Mob Town is a board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Each player takes the role of a Mob Family competing for control of a unique town that builds differently every time you play.

You cannot control the town alone, so enlist a cast of shady shysters drawn from classic mob stories. Blue-tinted Sharks, bolo-wearing Snakes, conniving Weasels, foxy Foxes, and dirty Rats can all help you expand your empire and defend your turf.

  • Compete for control of a town that changes from game to game.
  • Use recognizable shady allies, including Sharks, Snakes, Weasels, Foxes, and Rats.
  • Earn points for each property you own.
  • Scramble to leave town before The Law shows up.

The pressure rises as you build your influence and protect what you have claimed. Expand your empire, hold onto your properties, and keep an eye on the moment when The Law arrives to spoil everyone’s fun.

When the time comes, pack up and get your tail out of town. After you and your “friends” compete over the town, add up the points earned for your properties. In Mob Town, the player with the most points is declared the new boss.

Released in 2013, Mob Town combines competitive property control with a changing town layout and a race to get away before trouble catches up with you. It is a compact contest for 2–4 players where every new town offers another chance to build an empire and claim the title of boss.
