About this board game

The Tree Lined Avenue is a landscape-design game for 2–4 players, playable in about 30 minutes. Players create a large park on a 6×6 grid, building its symbolic tree-lined avenues while competing to make the avenues in their charge the most beautiful.

During each round, players take turns choosing from a limited supply of available trees and placing them in the park. Because the avenues cross paths and the number of trees is restricted, players must compete over the options they want and decide when to claim them.

Points come from collecting the same type of trees on the rows and columns where your gardeners stand. The trees you choose do more than shape the park: your decisions also affect your turn order in the next round.

  • Build a park in a shared 6×6 grid.
  • Choose and place trees from limited round-by-round supplies.
  • Collect matching tree types across your gardeners’ rows and columns.
  • Make choices that influence the next round’s turn order.

The challenge in The Tree Lined Avenue comes from balancing immediate opportunities with the consequences of each selection. A desirable tree may improve your scoring prospects, but taking it also changes how the next round unfolds.

With its intersecting avenues, limited trees, and gardener-based scoring, the game turns park planning into a focused contest for the most beautiful design.
