Twisty

About this board game

Twisty is a strategic board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Players jump across a 49-square board that changes from game to game while collecting seven coloured cubes in a required order.

At the start of the game, each player receives seven coloured counters and places them in front of them. This lineup determines which coloured cubes they must collect next, creating a clear objective while players navigate the board.

On a turn, a player moves their game piece by making a jump like a horse in chess. They may pick up a cube if it is the next colour in their sequence, leave the cube where it is, or use the special jump shown on the counter they land on.

Twisty also gives players a way to disrupt one another’s plans. A player can steal a cube from another player when it is the next cube in their own sequence, unless that cube is safe. Timing movement, choosing when to collect, and watching opponents all matter.

To win, a player must collect all seven cubes and finish their turn in the middle square. With its changing board, ordered collections, special jumps, and opportunities to steal, Twisty combines route planning with direct competition in a focused game of cube collecting.
