My Little Pony: Collectible Card Game is a two-player game with an approximately 20-minute play time, set in the world of Lauren Faust’s My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Each player competes to solve problems with their friends and become the first to score 15 points.

Each game uses a character card, a character deck, and a 10-card problem deck. The character deck contains about 45 cards, including friends, events, resources, and troublemakers. Problem cards have a variable cost that depends on the direction in which each card is facing on the table.

As the game progresses, players send their friends to solve problems while competing against one another. Successfully advancing toward the shared goal of 15 points is the key to victory, making each match a focused race between two players.

My Little Pony: Collectible Card Game is available through traditional starter decks, booster packs, and theme decks. Starter sets include two complete decks and special foil-embossed cards, while theme decks and starter sets are based on the six central ponies known as the “Mane 6”: Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack.

The game system supports discussion and play across its different products and releases, allowing players to explore the colorful world of the series through collectible cards and head-to-head problem solving.
