About this board game

Firesiege: A Feralis Story is a limited-information cooperative game for 1–4 players, with games lasting around 120 minutes. Each player controls a Valkun Hero with unique abilities and skills while the army of Skreel invades the city of Medda.

The enemy is nearly infinite, so simply fighting is not enough. Players must work together to protect their leader, Norad, and fulfill different Goal cards. These challenges may involve sealing the three Skreel Nests, rescuing inhabitants of Medda’s citadel, or recruiting enough Marall mercenaries to overcome the enemy.

Victory requires flipping all six Banner tokens to their Victory side. The selected Goal cards change the challenge from one game to the next, creating different demands for the defending heroes.

  • Limited information: When you play an action card, you know only one side of it, while the other players know the side you do not.
  • Double-sided consequences: Both sides of every played card must be resolved; one provides a light-side benefit, while the other carries a negative shadow-side effect.
  • Restricted communication: Clear coordination matters, but players are not entirely free to speak openly about their plans.

Every action in battle triggers a reaction, turning communication and timing into essential survival tools. A poor choice can have immediate consequences, and any card could be the last one.

The defenders lose immediately if a Hero dies, an enemy reaches the city center, or the Incubation track reaches its maximum. In Firesiege: A Feralis Story, choose carefully which effects to play and when to act as Medda fights to withstand the siege.
