Chocolates is a 2024 game for 2–4 players that takes about 20 minutes, inviting you to explore an unknown box of chocolate tiles and make claims to score the most points.

When the box’s contents are completely unknown, every discovery can be exciting. Explore the chocolate tiles bit by bit, gathering clues that help you decide which claims to make and when to make them.

The questions at the heart of the game focus on the chocolates’ colors, shapes, positions, and relationships. You may need to work out details such as:

• Whether exactly three white chocolates are in the box
• Whether the white chocolates are on the outside
• How many triangular chocolates there are
• Whether there are more triangular chocolates than round ones
• Whether milk chocolates are adjacent

These tricky questions give each discovery a purpose. As more of the box is revealed, you can refine your understanding and judge which answer is most promising.

Success depends on making the right claims at the right time. The aim is to use what you uncover to score more points than the other players, turning an apparently simple box of chocolates into a puzzle of observation and deduction.
