Helden in der Unterwelt is a standalone board game for 1–4 players, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes. Released in 2005, it is the third release in the Return of the Heroes series.

This time, the journey leads into the Underworld, drawing its characters and treasure from classical Greek mythology. The setting gives the series a new mythological focus while introducing additional gameplay elements for players to experience.
