About this board game
Arbos Apfel is a family board game for 1–6 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Players use skill to grow a tree by attaching leaves, branches, and apples, creating a distinctive wooden structure as the game develops.
The game is the successor to Arbos and adds apples to the tree-building experience. These new pieces make the game even more diversified, while keeping the central challenge focused on adding components to the growing tree.
Whenever a player places something on the tree, they must take anything that falls down during the installation. This creates an engaging consequence for every addition: the tree changes with each placement, and falling pieces become part of the player’s responsibility.
- Attach leaves, branches, and apples to grow the tree.
- Take anything that falls during your installation.
- Adjust the level of difficulty by moving the trunk.
- Use the card deck for additional excitement.
The difficulty can be adjusted by moving the trunk, making it possible to change the challenge while building. A card deck brings another source of excitement to the game and adds variety to the play experience.
Made out of wood, Arbos Apfel offers a tactile family game centered on building a tree piece by piece. Its combination of leaves, branches, apples, falling components, adjustable difficulty, and cards makes it a diversified successor to Arbos.
