About this board game

Electronic Labyrinth is a 2011 maze adventure for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 60 minutes. Shift the labyrinth, help its inhabitants, and collect enough magic stones to free the imprisoned wizard Akata.

The board combines fixed tiles with movable tiles that slide through rows. One tile stands outside the maze at the start of each turn. Insert it into a row to move the labyrinth, pushing another tile out the opposite side; that tile becomes the next player’s piece to add.

After changing the maze, move your pawn through the newly formed paths. Each player begins in a corner and must reach the diagonally opposite starting location. Reaching it awards magic stones, but the inhabitants of the labyrinth offer another way to earn them.

  • Visit an inhabitant to discover which item is needed.
  • Find the requested items scattered throughout the labyrinth and deliver them for a reward.
  • Carry treasure chests between inhabitants to receive additional rewards.
  • Complete your magic key with 15 magic stones and return to your starting location to win.

The game’s electronic book manages interactions with the labyrinth’s inhabitants. When a player reaches one, they press the corresponding buttons, and the book reveals the assignment, reward, or other required information.

With its shifting paths, changing access to items, and electronic encounters, Electronic Labyrinth combines the familiar core movement of the Labyrinth series with a quest to complete your magic key before the other adventurers.
