Age of Automaton is a competitive board game for 2–4 players, with an approximately 120-minute play time, set in the late 21st century. As an automaton factory owner, you must build victory points over the course of five years and strive to become the best factory in the world.

Robotic technology has reached its peak, but intelligent robots are expensive to use for hazardous environments and everyday tasks. Automatons offer a more affordable alternative, and demand for them is soaring. At the same time, rapidly depleting materials are driving companies to send automatons into space in search of new sources.
