About this board game

Reality Shift: Deluxe is a fast-paced 3D racing game for 2–5 players, with races lasting about 60 minutes. Set in a retro virtual reality world, it challenges players to guide light bikes across a shifting track made from large magnetic Reality Cubes.

Your magnetic figure is not constrained by gravity, so it can travel along any accessible path on the tops and sides of the cubes. Each turn, you may play a card to hack the track and slide, rotate, flip, or tilt a Reality Cube. These changes can create a shorter route, open a path to the finish, block an opponent, or even crush a rival and send them back to the start.

Speed alone is not enough in Reality Shift: Deluxe. Players must constantly assess the three-dimensional layout, react to altered routes, and choose when to transform the board for maximum advantage. The deluxe edition adds new hazards, options, track setups, and variants to the race.

The deluxe components can be added to a base-game setup, while the grid board supports larger tracks when combined with cube movement. The White Light Bike can be selected as a powerful option, although it includes built-in setbacks, and its inclusion also provides rules for a fifth player.
