About this board game

Zoomies is a 2024 board game for 2–4 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. You are a dog walker helping your pups make friends, collect bones, become the leader of the pack, and get the zoomies.

Each turn, place a domino-style tile in the playing area, then place a scoring token on it. The four scoring tokens can each be played in two different ways, creating an important choice between what to pursue and what to give up.

Tokens award points based on the features around them. Depending on how they are used, they can score for adjacent dogs, bone icons, and more.

Playing your dogs carefully can let you add points to a previous token while also digging up a whole new way to score. This gives your placement decisions lasting effects as the park takes shape.

Sometimes, the best move may boost an opponent’s score. However, that player might wag a few points your way in return, adding another layer to the decisions around each scoring token.

At the end of Zoomies, score each token to determine who is top dog. With tile placement, flexible scoring choices, and opportunities to help or benefit from other players, every turn contributes to the final pack leader.
