Blend Off!

About this board game

Blend Off! is a 15-minute real-time smoothie-making race for 2–4 players, in which everyone collects fruit, completes Orders, and competes to earn the most gold stars. There are no turns: all Master Mixers play at the same time, creating a fast-paced contest of skill and speed.

The smoothie shop is overwhelmed by a crowd of volleyball spectators, and Becca has offered free smoothies for a month to the player who blends the most. But Kevin, her unpredictable young son, is grabbing fruit from the fridge at random. Roll the die to see what fruit becomes available, then decide whether it belongs in one of your Blenders.

When the ingredients in a Blender match a faceup Order, call out “Blend!” and claim that Order for its gold stars. You can keep rolling until Kevin brings the fruit you need, so quick decisions and careful ingredient management are essential. If a Blender contains the wrong or extra ingredients, another player can call “Blunder!” and force the mistake to be corrected.

• Collect: Roll the die and take an available fruit for one of your Blenders—or reroll if you do not want it.
• Dump: Empty an entire Blender, or combine one Blender’s mixed ingredients with another.
• Blend: Match a Blender to a faceup Order and claim it.
• Blunder: Catch an incorrect Blend call and send the botched Order back to Becca’s deck.

Keep gathering, mixing, and correcting mistakes until the game ends. In Blend Off!, the Master Mixer with the most gold stars wins.
