About this board game

Lovestruck is a reality dating game for 5–10 players that takes about 90 minutes. Each player becomes a contestant trying to discover who is genuinely seeking love and who is really on the show to become famous.

Each round, called an Episode, features dates where contestants get to know one another by playing Action Cards. Dates that result in LOVE provide additional Action Cards and let contestants couple up with others. Dates that lead to DRAMA instead grant additional Screen Time.

Action Cards can also feature Special Actions. These effects may help you get chosen for dates, gain more Screen Time, or sabotage other couples as you compete for attention and pursue the right relationship.

• Play dates and Action Cards to learn about other contestants.
• Build couples through LOVE while gaining attention through DRAMA.
• Use Special Actions to influence dates, Screen Time, and rival couples.
• Reveal each contestant’s Intention Card at the end of the game.

The show culminates in a Season Finale, when the final couples are decided. You then choose who you want to leave the show with—or whether you leave alone. A correct match creates a picture-perfect romance, while a wrong match can leave you alone or paired with someone who is not who you thought they were.

In Lovestruck, contestants win by ending up coupled with someone revealed to be there for the “Right” reasons. But if viewership reaches 10 million, the game ends immediately: everyone there for the “Wrong” reasons wins, while everyone else loses.
