About this board game

AVGhost: Paranormal Investigation is a cooperative paranormal investigation game for 1–4 players, with sessions lasting around 180 minutes. Take control of a team from a specialized agency and investigate homes troubled by ghosts, spirits, and poltergeists.

Across six different cases, you will be hired by people who need help cleansing their homes. Together, players must explore each site, uncover its story, and solve the events that stand between the investigators and a successful cleansing. The complete experience offers nearly 30 hours of gameplay.

AVGhost is designed to be played in the dark, using a digital app to reveal clues, provide background music, and deliver sounds and voices from paranormal events. If you prefer a traditional experience, the investigation booklet can completely replace the app, allowing you to play with the lights on and without digital support.

Each case follows three investigation lines:

• Individual clues: Place your gear and search for the clues assigned to the investigation.
• Numbered clues: Examine locations and objects on site to find numbered clues, uncover new information, and discover places that still need to be searched.
• Paranormal events: Respond to random events triggered by the app, which may surprise or startle the team.

The clues gradually reveal the complete story of the case, while paranormal events create additional challenges to overcome. To finish an investigation, you must find the audio clues, locate every correct numbered clue on the board, and solve every paranormal event.
