About this board game

TacTile is an engine-building abstract strategy game for 2–4 players, with approximately 60 minutes of play time. Move pawns across a modular, four-color board while building a tableau of action cards and racing to get both of your pawns into your opponents’ home first.

Every move can help develop your strategy. As your pawns advance, you can gain resources and buy colorful action cards. These cards are permanently added to your tableau and can provide one free action per turn—but only after you activate them by landing on a tile that matches their color.

Success depends on more than simply moving forward. Plan your positioning to reach the colors you need, set up powerful turns, and connect your available effects into satisfying combinations. The result is a tactical race where every landing can influence both your engine and your path across the board.

In the four-player mode, TacTile becomes a competitive 2v2 team battle. Special cooperative abilities let teammates work together, including pushing an ally’s pawn and swapping cards with an ally.
