About this board game

Curling: Gra planszowa is a board game for 2–6 players that recreates curling and shuffleboard in around 20 minutes.

In the curling game, players compete individually or in teams. Each player or team has three stones, which they drop from a starting zone at one edge of the mat and try to make glide toward the house on the opposite side.

The objective is to bring as many stones as possible close to the center of the house. Every placement matters as players aim to finish nearer to the target than their opponents.

  • Curling: Glide stones from the starting zone toward the house and seek the closest positions.
  • Shuffleboard: Send stones into scoring zones, knock away opponents’ stones, and avoid zones with negative points.

The reverse side of the mat offers a board game version of Shuffleboard. Here, players try to guide their stones into particular zones that provide the most points, while also attempting to remove opponents’ stones from play.

Shuffleboard adds another way to use the mat, combining careful stone placement with opportunities to interfere with other players. Avoiding negative-point zones is also essential when choosing where each stone should glide.

With its two playable formats, Curling: Gra planszowa offers a choice between targeting the center of a house and competing for points across marked zones. It can be played by two players or by up to six players in teams, making it suitable for different group sizes.
