About this board game
Anna’s Roundtable is a fan-made Fire Emblem tactical board game for 2–4 players, with a listed play time of 75 minutes. Its core experience is a turn-based 1 v 1 clash in which commanders deploy units, maneuver across the map, capture objectives, and defeat opposing forces.
Each player draws a hand of six unit cards from a shared deck containing more than 200 cards, illustrated by over 100 fan artists. Every turn, you must make tactical decisions about positioning and deployment while seeking opportunities to control the battlefield and undermine your opponent’s plans.
The game adds several features inspired by the Fire Emblem series. Players can purchase and use cards from Anna’s Shop, manipulate the map with Dragon Veins, and take advantage of the classic weapon triangle. Together, these systems give the battle a distinctive Fire Emblem feel while keeping the focus on tactical movement and objectives.
- Turn-based 1 v 1 tactical battles
- A shared deck of more than 200 unit cards
- Map objectives, unit deployment, and maneuvering
- Anna’s Shop and Dragon Veins
- The classic Fire Emblem weapon triangle
- A 2–4 player cooperative mode against AI-controlled bosses
The cooperative mode lets players team up against bosses drawn from Fire Emblem history, offering a different way to experience the system. Whether you are competing against another commander or joining forces against an AI-controlled threat, the game asks whether your army can shape the story—or become a stepping stone for your opponent.
An expansion is in development with 200 additional playable unit cards and five more cooperative bosses. A reprint of the base game’s unit cards is also available, addressing many balance issues while updating the user interface design and improving color accuracy. Anna’s Roundtable is a fan project built around tactical choices, recognizable series elements, and a large illustrated card pool.
