About this board game

Tiny Epic Pirates is a high-seas adventure game for 1–4 players, played in about 60 minutes, in which you command a pirate ship and race to bury three treasures.

Each player has a randomized, unique arrangement of actions on their ship’s rondel. Move your Captain Token around the action wheel to choose between Plunder, Trade, Crew Up, Attack, and Search. Sailing your ship is available whenever you take an action, letting you navigate the map while pursuing your plans.

• Plunder settlements to acquire valuable booty.
• Trade goods at the Black Market, watching which good each market currently wants.
• Crew Up to add crew members who improve combat and strengthen actions on your ship’s wheel.
• Attack merchant ships and rival pirates to gain reputation, gold, and more booty.
• Search the high seas for abandoned treasures, salvage, and useful ship parts.

Your crew unlocks new abilities for the spokes of your action wheel, making repeated actions more powerful. Timing matters as you sell goods at the right market, choose when to raise your reputation, and decide how to spend your gold.

To bury a treasure, you must first collect the gold required for a bury spot on the map. The game ends once a player has buried three treasures, after all players have taken an equal number of turns. In Tiny Epic Pirates, the player who achieves this wins; ties are resolved first by legendary status, then by gold.
