About this board game

Rum & Bones is a pirate adventure board game for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Inspired by online MOBA-style games, it puts legendary pirate heroes and their crews into a battle for Davy Jones’ legendary treasure.

Each player controls up to five heroes at a time, moving them across the board to attack the opposing ship. Every hero has unique powers and abilities, giving players different ways to approach the fight as they seek to destroy enough key features on their opponent’s vessel to win.

Your heroes are supported by a crew that acts independently. Deckhands and bosuns follow a simple AI, moving into the action and wreaking havoc on the enemy without being directly controlled by players.

Plunder is central to the struggle. As players amass pieces of eight, they can spend these powerful coins to unleash devastating abilities and attacks from their heroes, crushing enemies and pushing toward final victory.

With its combination of hero powers, autonomous crew members, ship-based objectives, and pirate-themed treasure, Rum & Bones delivers a focused contest for control of the high seas.
