About this board game

Deckscape: Test Time is a cooperative escape-room-inspired game for 1–6 players, with an adventure designed to take around 90 minutes. Using just sixty cards, players work together to solve puzzles, understand the story, and escape a locked laboratory.

You have been selected as one of Doctor Thyme’s most brilliant students for a special project. The reward for success is a unique opportunity to help with his newest and greatest invention—but the test quickly takes an unexpected turn.

While explaining his project, Doctor Thyme accidentally pushes a button. An alarm sounds, heavy gratings seal the windows and exit door, and the laboratory becomes locked. Before you can react, the doctor falls through a trapdoor and the lights go out.

To escape, your group must examine the available information, make intelligent use of the items provided, and uncover the solutions hidden throughout the adventure. The aim is to complete Doctor Thyme’s exam and leave the laboratory as quickly as possible.

Inspired by real escape rooms, Deckscape: Test Time brings a hectic laboratory escape adventure to the table without requiring you to leave home. It was released in 2017 and is the first title in the Deckscape series.
