Faraway: People From Below

About this expansion

Faraway: People From Below is an expansion for 2–7 players that adds new ways to acquire fame to the world of Alula, with games lasting about 25 minutes. Released in 2024, it can be combined with the base game to expand play to as many as seven players.

The continent of Alula has more surprises in store through two ancient peoples: the Guides and the Three-Eyed Ones. They bring new ways of acquiring fame, adding fresh possibilities to games of Faraway without changing the concise format of the original experience.

The expansion includes 5 Region cards featuring a new gray Biome called Mystical Havens. These cards are identifiable by a band of icons across the center. Mystical Havens were already present on 25 Sanctuary cards in the base game, and this expansion adds 4 Sanctuary cards of its own.

• 4 new Sanctuary cards
• Support for games with up to 7 players when added to the base game

One new Region card offers a distinctive scoring opportunity: it awards 4 victory points for each Mystical Haven card. However, using it requires twice each of the resource icons shown as its prerequisite, for a total of six icons.

With its new people, Region cards, Sanctuary cards, and Mystical Havens, Faraway: People From Below gives the base game additional content and new fame-focused possibilities in Alula.
