King of New York: Power Up!

About this expansion

King of New York: Power Up! is an expansion for 2–6 players with an approximately 40-minute play time, adding evolution cards and a new monster to the King of New York and King of Tokyo series.

Captain Fish, Sheriff, and their fellow monsters each gain access to two unique sets of evolution cards. Across the expansion, there are 112 cards in total, giving both games new ways to bring monsters into the fight.

The expansion also introduces Mega Shark, a new challenger ready to compete alongside the other monsters. Its arrival adds another option for players looking to enter the struggle for supremacy.

• New powers activated by rolling three hearts

With this expansion, rolling three hearts allows you to draw a card and access violent new powers. The hearts do not need to be rolled on the same turn, creating a longer-term path toward unlocking these abilities.

Fans of King of Tokyo: Power Up! can also mix monsters from both games and compete for supremacy over Tokyo with evolution cards. Released in 2016, King of New York: Power Up! offers a way to combine content from across the series while adding new cards, powers, and a memorable shark-shaped challenger.
