Its release history spans several Kickstarter campaigns and editions. The original version was available in blue as an exclusive add-on during the 2013 Xia: Legends of a Drift System Kickstarter campaign.
The 2016 Xia: Embers of a Forsaken Star Kickstarter campaign introduced the Mk II version. It used the same miniature in yellow and added the components required to make it playable as a player’s ship.
