About this expansion
Space Hulk: Deathwing Expansion is an expansion for 1–4 players with a listed playing time of 45 minutes. It requires a copy of Space Hulk and is not a complete game on its own.
Take the role of the Dark Angels’ elite Deathwing Terminator Company and add new personnel to your force. The expansion introduces a Marine Captain and a Marine Librarian, along with an expanded selection of weapons for Space Marine squads.
- New weapons: Assault Cannon, Grenade Launcher, Power Sword, Chain Fist, Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield, Lightning Claws, and Force Axe.
- Expanded missions: Multi-level games with pitfalls and ladders, plus crates, rubble, bulkheads, cryogenic tanks, and disposal chutes.
- New rules: Ambushes, teleporting, and more.
- Mission tools: A mission generator and solo rules.
A roster sheet supports predefined formations, including the Command Squad, Heavy Weapons Squad, Standard Squad, Close Assault Squad, and Reconnaissance Squad. These options provide a range of established squad types for organizing the available personnel and equipment.
The expansion also includes Broken Knife’s Duty, a new campaign consisting of six missions. Alongside the campaign, the added scenario features and mission generator broaden the ways to use the expansion’s contents with Space Hulk.
With new characters, weapons, rules, terrain features, squad rosters, and solo content, Space Hulk: Deathwing Expansion adds substantial variety to the original game while extending its setting of Dark Angels serving the Emperor.
