Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Heirs of Blood is a campaign book for 2–5 players, designed for use with the Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition Core Set. Released in 2015, it presents a new story-driven campaign set in the kingdom of Saradyn.

The lost heir to Saradyn’s throne has finally come forth, but the claim is far from secure. Without protection, the heir may fall prey to the deadly temptations of Lady Eliza Farrow, a vampire and rival claimant to the kingdom.

In Heirs of Blood, Terrinoth’s heroes must protect the heir and guide them safely toward the rightful throne. Along the way, they face the forces of the overlord and take part in thirty-two completely new encounters that tell the campaign’s unfolding tale.
